Two guys and a joint

CITY POLICE NEWS RELEASE

********************** Yesterday morning patrol officers had occasion to check two males inside a vehicle in the downtown area.

When officers looked in the vehicle they noted a joint in the car as well as a small amount of cannabis resin in a container.

A search warrant was obtained for the car and officers located 13 ounces of hash oil with a street value of approximately $10,000; 5-6 pounds of marijuana with a street value of approximately $20,000 and a quantity of cash.

40-year-old Alain Plouffe and 45-year-old Marc Ducharme, both of Saint Gabriel de Brandon, Quebec will appear in bail court this morning.

Both males have been charged with one count each of possession of a controlled drug or substance and two counts each of possession for the purposes of trafficking in a controlled drug or substance.
