Company of the Year wins two roundtrip tickets anywhere Porter flies!
 
SAULT STE. MARIE - This June 24, the Sault Ste. Marie Innovation Centre will honour the best and brightest in science and technology within the Algoma region at the eighth annual SSMARt Innovation Awards.

This year’s event is being held at the Grand Gardens ballroom.

SSMIC will honour regional companies and influential individuals for their innovative use of science and technology throughout the past year.

An external panel of judges will score nomination applications and winners in eight award categories will be announced during the event.

Prospective nominees are asked to submit nomination applications in any of the following award categories:

• Innovation Company of the Year

• Innovation in Web and Social Media

• Innovation Project of the Year

• Innovation Educator of the Year

• Innovation Researcher of the Year

• Innovation Student/Graduate of the Year

• Innovation Youth of the Year

• Innovation Leader of the Year

This year’s Innovation Company of the Year winner will be awarded two roundtrip tickets anywhere Porter flies, courtesy of Porter Airlines.

Nomination deadline is May 23 at 5 p.m.
 
The industry leaders, entrepreneurs and post‐secondary students of the science and technology sectors are creating future economic opportunities for the province of Ontario and its northern communities.

Members of the community are invited to join us and show their support by attending the gala dinner and awards ceremony.
 
Tickets are $25 and include dinner and door prize draw.
