Galaxy Psychic Fair

Sept 13, 14, 15 at the Days Inn Hotel see Ontario’s top 15 Mediums, Psychics, Healers, Astrologers, Palm Readers and Tea Leaf Readers. Beautiful Crystals and hand made jewelry. Digital Creator North Poetry, Tea, and Coffee Night

Fall is in full swing so come warm up at the Digital Creator North space in the SSM public library on Friday September 13th from 3:00pm until 5:30pm for a prose party. Guests are encouraged to write poetry, read some famous poets and warm up with a hot beverage.

Quattro Rabbit Dinner in support of ARCH Hospice

The 5th Annual Rabbit Dinner in support of ARCH Hospice takes place this Friday with doors opening at 6:00 p.m. The meal will start with Quattro's beloved basil grilled ravioli, followed by Executive Chef Paul Chiappetta's famous rabbit cacciatore & chicken cutlets, roast potatoes, vegetables, dessert & coffee/tea.

Amoré Friday the 13th Party

This year Amore will be hosting their Friday the 13th party at their Amore East location on 149 Trunk Rd. Want to hang out with their lovely Amore lingerie models? Be served free drinks by scantily clad men? Get greats deals? Listen to music and eat free food? Come in and enjoy the party, because they believe you can still get lucky this Friday the 13th ;)

The Soo's Got Talent 2019 - Opening Night!

On Friday, September 13th The Soo's Got Talent will be premiering at The Grand Gardens, Verdi Ballroom. This year's show is in support of The Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH). All of the contestants will be performing one number each and then at the end of the show, they will reveal who is eliminated and who advances to the following week of Friday September 20th.

St. Luke's Cathedral Accessories Boutique

In support of St. Luke's Anglican Church Women outreach shop the Accessories Boutique from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday. There will be jewellery and gently used fashion accessories (scarves, purses, hats, etc.) and small home décor accessories (book ends, candle holders, vases, figurines, etc.). 160 Brock Street, Corner of Brock and Albert

The Great Bucket List Cycle

On Saturday September 14th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., cyclists will band together and cycle 100km St. Joseph Island. Don’t worry as there will also be a 70km option for intermediate riders and a 40km option for novice riders.

Parent & Tot Learn to Skate

On Saturdays at GFL from 12:10 p.m. to 1 p.m. parents join their preschoolers on the ice in this parent and toddler instructional skating program. This is an introductory skating program for children 3 years of age. This program is designed for children with no skating experience to introduce skaters to the ice. Each skater is required to have one accompanying adult 18 years of age or older. The accompanying adult must have competent skating abilities and must be able to assist the tot throughout the lesson.

Paw Fest 2019

This Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Roberta Bondar Pavilion a day full of fun for the whole family - including the dog! Prizes for top individual and team pledge collectors and the best dressed dog in our costume contest. Photo booth, games and demos. It is the PAWfect day for a walk!

Habitat for Humanity SSMA Presents: The Great Doghouse Build

The Great Doghouse Build is a Habitat for Humanity Fundraiser that invites the community to come out and show off their creativity by building doghouses! This year, the Great Doghouse Build will be in conjunction with the Humane Society's Pawfest.

Splash'N Boots Live!

39th Annual Terry Fox Run

The 39th Annual Terry Fox Run takes place Sunday September 15th, 2019 at the Roberta Bondar Pavilion! Registration opens at 8:30 a.m. with the Run, Walk, Wheel & Ride Starting at 10:00 a.m. The distances include 2 km, 5 km and 10 km along the St..Mary’s River waterfront & Canal Lock. All are encouraged to join in on the Family Friendly Event! No Entry fee, no Minimum Pledge, 100% Volunteer Driven. Form a Team and “Team Up For Terry” at terryfox.org/teams.

A&W Arch Car/Bike Show

A&W (659 Great Northern Road) is hosting their annual car and bike show to support ARCH Hospice Sunday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.This event is open to everyone and everyone is encouraged to come support a great cause! You can bring your vintage/modern car/bike down and enter by donation. There are lots of raffles this year, live music, games of chance, popcorn and A&W Root Beer®! 

Crystal Bowls Sound Bath with Reiki

Join Anne-Marie Caicco and Adam Courneene at The Healing Loft from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for a deeply relaxing, live music event; a meditative journey; an immersion into sound and vibrational healing. In the Sound Baths, they use the sounds of the crystal singing bowls and the native flute to invite healing, self-discovery, and rejuvenating effects. This is a gentle yet powerful experience for the mind, body, and soul.
