********************* A day at the beach

Harmony Beach, Ont. - Police were called to Harmony Beach in Goulais River on Saturday morning after three separate theft reports from the night before.

Sometime on Friday night thieves stole at least five wheelbarrows of firewood from one home in the area and several DVDs from a second Harmony Beach residence.

A third person reported a digital camera worth $1000 was stolen from her tent.

Batchewana First Nation break and enter

Batchewana First Nation, Ont. - The Batchewana First Nation Police were called to a break and enter at a gas station on Frontenac Street this morning.

At about 1:30 this morning an alarm was activated at the business.

Officers arrived to find the door had been forced open and a quantity of cigarettes had been stolen.

The owner of the business has spent most of this morning determining the exact number of missing smokes.

This investigation is still ongoing.
