Saturday Art Making: Learn art techniques in drawing, painting, sculpture and mixed media taught by local artists and art educators. Hosted at the Art Gallery of Algoma, 50 East Street, from 10 a.m. to noon for ages 6 to 12 years. Session runs from March 22 to May 3. Call 705-949-0967 for details.

Saturday Art Club: Parents and children will work together to discover art in the studio and in the exhibition galleries. While exploring lots of art mediums, this class will provide opportunities for creative play and fun learning. Passport to Unity will host Juno Award winning Canadian artists A Tribe Called Red for an up-close and personal meet-and-greet at the Sault College Health And Wellness Centre at 2 p.m. The event is free and open to all ages. A Tribe Called Red will return to the Health And Wellness Centre for a live performance with local openers LOCAL and Outspoken. The Jungle Book is presented by The Academy of Performing Arts at the DreamMaker's Theater at Kewadin Casino in sault Michigan at 6 p.m. Adult tickets are $15, children (12 and under) $8. The Steeltown Silver Band Spring Celebration Concert takes place at St. Luke's Cathedral, 160 Brock St., starting at 7 p.m. Tickets are available from band members, at the door, and by calling 705-759-5039 or 705-759-4143.

The Musical Comedy Guild presents a dinner theatre showcase of The Marvelous Wonderettes at the Northern Grand Gardens at 6:30 p.m. For more information, click here

Obsession returns to the Esquire Club, 102 Second Line West, to play from 9:30 p.m. until close.

Tym Morrison performs at the Harp Pub and Grill, 701 Pine St., from 10 p.m. until close.

Late Shift performs at Loplops, 651 Queen St. East, starting at 10 p.m.

Crued, a tribute to Motley Crue, hits the stage at the Rockstar Bar, 864 Queen St. East, at 10:30 p.m. Tickets are $8 and may be purchased at the Algonquin Hotel front desk.

Techniques for Teens at the Art Gallery of Algoma: Learn art techniques in drawing, painting, sculpture and mixed media taught by local artists and art educators who bring their talent and experience to each class. Class runs from 1 to 3 p.m. and is for ages 12 and older. This session runs from March 23 to May 4. Cost: $70 AGA Family Members, $80 Non-members. Please call 705-949-9067 for more information.
