The Sault Ste. Marie Chamber of Commerce presents Spring Expo 2014 at the John Rhodes Community Centre from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Saturday Art Making: Learn art techniques in drawing, painting, sculpture and mixed media taught by local artists and art educators. Hosted at the Art Gallery of Algoma, 50 East Street, from 10 a.m. to noon for ages 6 to 12 years. Session runs from March 22 to May 3. Call 705-949-0967 for details.

Saturday Art Club: Parents and children will work together to discover art in the studio and in the exhibition galleries. While exploring lots of art mediums, this class will provide opportunities for creative play and fun learning. Hosted at the Art Gallery of Algoma, 50 East Street, 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. for ages 3 to 5 years. Session runs from Session runs from March 22 to May 3. Call 705-949-0967 for details.

The Steeltown Playboys play Searchmont Resort from 3 to 6 p.m.

Soo Greyhounds vs Owen Sound at the Essar Centre. Game time is 7:07 p.m.

The Algoma Conservatory of Music presents Lara St. John (violin) in concert at the Kiwanis Community Theatre Centre at 7:30 p.m.

Touch of Class returns to perform at the Dondee Lanes in Sault Michigan from 8 p.m. to midnight.

Kalle Mattson celebrates the release of Someday, the Moon Will Be Gold with an all-ages performance at Cafe Natura, 75 Elgin St. Show includes a guest appearance from Great Chamberlain. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 at the door.

Medi-Fest 2014 happens at the Grand Theatre, 641 Queen St. East, and includes performances from The Elements, Redundant, Project 421, Obviously D'uh, Cory Murchison, and the Craig West Band. Doors open at 8 p.m. This is an all-ages event. Admission is $10. Proceeds go to support the fight against the repeal of medical marijuana personal production laws.

Obsession plays the Water Tower Pub, 360 Great Northern Rd., starting at 9 p.m.

Redline performs at the OLG Casino from 9:30 p.m. until 12:30 a.m.

Tym Morrison performs at the Harp Pub and Grill, 701 Pine St. Show time is 10 p.m.

Griphook is set to play the Roosevelt Hotel, 306 Korah Rd., from 10:30 p.m. until close.

Boxcar Junction plays the Rockstar Bar, 864 Queen St. east. Show time is 10:30 p.m.

The Sault Ste. Marie Chamber of Commerce presents Spring Expo 2014 at the John Rhodes Community Centre from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Techniques for Teens at the Art Gallery of Algoma: Learn art techniques in drawing, painting, sculpture and mixed media taught by local artists and art educators who bring their talent and experience to each class. Class runs from 1 to 3 p.m. and is for ages 12 and older. This session runs from March 23 to May 4. Cost: $70 AGA Family Members, $80 Non-members. Please call 705-949-9067 for more information.

The Spinney Brothers from Nova Scotia bring bluegrass tradition to the Croatian Hall, 446 Second Line East. Open jam session begins at 3 p.m. Dinner served between 4 and 6 p.m. ($12/person). The Spinney Brothers perform at 7 p.m. Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door. For more information, call 705-949-8674.

Algoma International Film Association will screen The Invisible Woman, directed by Ralph Fiennes, at Galaxy Cinemas in the Station Mall. Show time is 7 p.m.
