Saturday Art Making: Learn art techniques in drawing, painting, sculpture and mixed media taught by local artists and art educators. Saturday Art Club: Parents and children will work together to discover art in the studio and in the exhibition galleries. While exploring lots of art mediums, this class will provide opportunities for creative play and fun learning. Seedy Saturday happens in Essar Hall at Sault College from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event brings together gardeners, farmers, seed savers, and citizens passionate about gardening, food security and the environment.

The 9th annual Gathering at the Rapids Pow Wow happens in the George Leach Centre at Algoma University. Grand Entries take place at 1 and 7 p.m. The traditional feast begins at 5 p.m. Host drum is Crazy Spirit from Mount Pleasant, Michigan.

Cross Road plays the Elks Hall, 216 Bay St., from 2 to 6 p.m.

SAFA presents Slopefest at Searchmont Resort. The day includes live entertainment from Northwest and guests playing an outdoor stage at the base of the mountain. Competition begins at 1 p.m.

Soo Greyhounds vs Kitchener at the Essar centre. Game time is 7:07 p.m.

Korah Collegiate presents You're A Good Man Charlie Brown at Korah, 636 Goulais Ave. Show time is 7:30 p.m.

The Algoma Conservatory of Music presents Seiler Piano Trio at St. Jerome Church at 7:30 p.m.
