Saturday Art Making: Learn art techniques in drawing, painting, sculpture and mixed media taught by local artists and art educators. Hosted at the Art Gallery of Algoma, 50 East Street, from 10 a.m. to noon for ages 6 to 12 years. Session runs from January 25 to March 8. Call 705-949-0967 for details.

Saturday Art Club: Parents and children will work together to discover art in the studio and in the exhibition galleries. While exploring lots of art mediums, this class will provide opportunities for creative play and fun learning. Hosted at the Art Gallery of Algoma, 50 East Street, 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. for ages 3 to 5 years. Session runs from January 25 to March 8. Call 705-949-0967 for details.

Rick Charboneau performs at Searchmont Resort from 3 to 6 p.m.

Border City performs at the New American Pub, 602 Bay St., from 6 to 11 p.m.

White Pines OnStage presents Spamalot at the Kiwanis Community Theatre Centre. Tickets are $15 each and may be purchased at the Community Box Office in the Station Mall or at White Pines. Curtain time is 7 p.m.

Soo Greyhounds vs Windsor at the Essar Centre. Game time is 7:07 p.m.

The Sault Symphony Orchestra presents Celtic Classics at Central United Church at 8 p.m.

Spyder's Web performs at the Esquire Club, 102 Second Line West, from 9 p.m. until 1 a.m.

Coverfly plays the Water Tower Pub, 360 Great Northern Rd., starting at 9 p.m.

Cherry Crush returns to the Rockstar Bar, 864 Queen St. East, to play from 10 p.m. until close.

Tym Morrison plays the Harp, 701 Pine St., starting at 10 p.m.

That's Chester will perform at Docks River Front Grill, 89 Foster Dr. Show time is 10 p.m.

Bon Soo Winter Carnival: The winter carnival wraps today with the popular Polar Bear Swim at Bellevue Park at 1 p.m. Registration begins at noon. For a complete list of Bon Soo events, visit www.bonsoo.on.ca

Techniques for Teens at the Art Gallery of Algoma: Learn art techniques in drawing, painting, sculpture and mixed media taught by local artists and art educators who bring their talent and experience to each class. Class runs from 1 to 3 p.m. and is for ages 12 and older. This session runs from January 12 to February 16. Cost: $70 AGA Family Members, $80 Non-members.
