The James L. McIntyre Centennial Library invites you to come spend some time off-ice with the Soo Greyhounds.

On Tuesday, Jan. 29 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., the Greyhounds will be celebrating Family Literacy Day with local families.

This event is free to all ages, so parents, bring your kids. There will be stories, games, crafts, snacks and prizes, in addition to autographs and quality time with the hounds.

For further information, please contact the Children’s Department of the library at 705-759-5241.

Family Literacy Day is a national awareness initiative, created by ABC Life Literacy Canada in 1999 and hosted annually to raise awareness of the importance of reading and engaging in other literacy-related activities as a family.
