Administrative recommendations report for Johnson-Tarbutt Central Public School and Thessalon Public School

Trustees received the Pupil/School Accommodation Review Administrative Recommendations Report for Johnson-Tarbutt Central Public School and Thessalon Public School along with all documentation.

It is recommended that the Board approve, through their capital planning process that Johnson-Tarbutt Central Public School be relocated into a new JK-6 facility attached to the new gymnasium on the CASS site. 

It is understood that this addition will be contingent on Ministry funding.

It is also recommended that the Board approve, through their capital planning process that Thessalon Public School’s two buildings be consolidated into one new JK-6 facility on the current school property. 

It is understood that a new facility will be contingent on Ministry funding.

The Pupil/School Accommodation Review Administrative Recommendations Report will now be made available to the public for their review for 60 days before the Board of Trustees will vote on the recommendations. 

The earliest the Board could vote on the recommendations would be April 23, 2013.
