Terry Fox Run returns to the Pavilion (17 photos)

For the first time in three years, hundreds of locals came together in-person to raise funds and awareness for the Terry Fox Foundation

The spirits were high at the Roberta Bondar Pavilion on Sunday as the Terry Fox Run returned to the waterfront for the first time in three years.

Cloudy conditions couldn’t keep away the hundreds of residents who came together under the big tent for refreshments, opening remarks, and a warm-up this morning prior to the annual run.

Participants had the option of walking or running either a 5 km or 10 km route along the city’s waterfront and surrounding area. Accessible options were also available.

All proceeds raised from the event will go directly towards the Terry Fox Foundation.

After the run, attendees are invited to hang out under the tent at the Kids Zone. Terry Fox merchandise is available for purchase, and refreshments and snacks are on-site as well.
