Tarentorus Public School, how does your garden grow? (7 photos)

Students planted a special garden for Canada 150

SooToday received the following note and accompanying photos from the Algoma District School Board on behalf of Mrs. Elliot’s students from Tarentorus Public School who planted a special garden to commemorate Canada 150.

Mrs. Elliot’s Grade 4/5 class at Tarentorus Public School have been tending to the school’s front flower garden.

They planted 150 Canada 150 tulips and have been caring for them all spring, weeding, watering as needed and celebrating when they bloomed.

They worked in teams planting the bulbs and are pictured now with tulips having blossomed just in time for Canada Day.
