Steven Matte: 1975-2013

SooToday.com has received the following notice from the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre regarding one of two local men who died while snowmobiling on Lake George:

MATTE, Steven – Passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2013, at the age of 37.

Loving husband and best friend of Carolyn.

Cherished father of Daniel, Peyton, Braydon, Anthony and Trista.

Dear son of Dan Matte and Donna Miller.

Son-in-law of Joe and Frances Bossineau.

Grandson of Paul Matte (late Beatrice) and Eillen and John Corbiel.

Brother of Jason Matte (Kenda), Lee, Junior, Ashley and Heather.

Uncle of Richard and Charleton Matte.

Steven will be fondly remembered by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends, his “bus kids” and especially the Guerriero family.

Friends and family may call at the Garden River Community Centre from Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at 11 a.m. until time of the funeral service on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 3 p.m., Ms. Lana Grawbarger officiating.

Memorial contributions to the Children’s Make A Wish Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
