Someone tries to break in to the Roosevelt

********************** CITY POLICE NEWS RELEASE

Over the weekend police received two calls about attempted break and enters.

On the 22 of August police attended at Etienne Brule School at 226 Queen Street East shortly after midnight where officers found an open window.

Officers checked the building and it is not believed entry was gained.

Also on the 22nd Police attended at the Roosevelt Bar at 306 Korah Road after someone attempted to pry open the doors. Once again entry was not gained.

OPP NEWS RELEASE

********************** On the 22nd of August at 8 p.m. Sault OPP responded to a residence on Old Highway #17, Vankoughnet Township, Goulais River in regards to a break and enter.

The home owner arrived to find their residence had been broken into sometime over the weekend.

The home received minor damage and several items including jewelry and alcohol were taken.
