Snow squall watch issued for:

  • Searchmont - Montreal River Harbour - Batchawana Bay

Current details:

Lake effect flurries and local snow squalls are expected to develop late this evening.

Under the snow squall bands, visibilities may be significantly reduced due to heavy snow.

Local snowfall amounts of 10 cm per 12 hours will be possible.

Travel may be hazardous due to sudden changes in the weather.

Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.

Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.
