Areas north of Sault Ste. Marie are under a snow squall warning.

Squalls are expected tonight and could last into Monday morning before they taper off.

The affected areas include:

  • Agawa - Lake Superior Park
  • Searchmont - Montreal River Harbour - Batchawana Bay

Travel in the areas will be affected with 10 to 20 cm of snow accumulation possible by Monday morning.

As the snow squalls move through, visibility could suddenly be reduced to near zero at times due to heavy, blowing snow
