Sip and shop with Bridget and Joanna

Dr. Bridget Lamberts and Dr. Joanna Lamberts, stylish sisters and highly-specialized Sault dentists, have organized a fashion fundraiser known as the Cardiac Clothing Collective, to be held from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29 on The Machine Shop’s mezzanine level.

Local designers and lovers of fashion have donated quality used clothing and accessories to the event, with all proceeds gathered by the Sault Area Hospital Foundation, going to support of cardiac stenting at Sault Area Hospital.

The clothing will be put on display at The Machine Shop by Daryl Weir of 49th Apparel. 

“If you love finding a great deal, this event is for you. We’ve got party dresses, blazers, tops, shoes and accessories. It’s going to be a fun night,” Dr. Bridget Lamberts said.

No item will cost more than $25.

“We’re happy to work with the Foundation and support a cause that will keep cardiac care close to home. Everyone knows someone, a relative, a friend or neighbor that has travelled out of town for cardiac care. Let’s keep local patients close to home,” Dr. Joanna Lamberts said.

A clothing collective, the dentists explained, is a shopping event where people can purchase pre-loved clothing and accessories at a fraction of the original price in a curated, boutique-like setting, with women’s clothing and accessories available in a range of sizes and styles.

“We have collected fabulous clothing and have some amazing silent auction items (donated by several local doctors and businesses),” Dr. Bridget Lamberts said.

Tickets are $40 and include a complimentary cocktail, snacks and the chance to bid on stylish silent auction items including a Kate Spade purse, Ted Baker scarf, designer sunglasses, jewellery and more.

Tickets are available at 49th Apparel at 480 Queen St. E., Professional Place at 212 Queen St. E. (the Lamberts’ dental office) and the Sault Area Hospital Foundation office located within the hospital.
