'Significant' delays expected on the International Bridge

Starting on Monday, border-crossers can expect "significant" delays entering the Michigan Soo because of construction work on the new border facility, the U.S. General Services Administration advises.

Through until Wednesday, only one lane will be open for southbound traffic from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., project manager Donald Melcher says.

Northbound traffic to Canada will not be affected.
