That passion is supporting small local businesses such as herself.

“There is something so special about supporting each and everyone of these small businesses, it really warms my heart,” she says.

“And I’m hoping to continue to grow this list in 2019.”

“Each and every time I bring on a new local business it gives me goosebumps from head to toe. I truly believe that working together and supporting each other makes us all stronger,” Shonna says.

She is so proud to support these small businesses that she wants to share this love with her customers and anyone that would like to meet and mingle with these amazing locals, just in time for Valentine’s Day. She is hosting an event on Feb. 13 called Love Local between 7-9 p.m. at The Country Way, 79 Brock St.

The first 25 people to attend the event will receive a free grab bag filled with goodies as well as a locally designed (Creative Nest) t-shirt that was locally printed (Sports Gold).  Tickets have also been locally printed (Stone’s Office Supply) and are free to whomever is interested in attending. You can pick tickets up at The Country Way and at Vibe Eatery on March St.

During the event, attendees will have the opportunity to chat and get to know the small local business owners that each provide a unique product made with love and passion. There will be samples provided to taste test, giveaways, a door prize as well as talented local music (Frank Deresti and Shannon Moan).

If you’re looking to feel the love this Valentine’s Day, stop by The Country Way for some feel good vibrations and join the fun!

Shonna would like to thank the above mentioned local businesses for their generous support as well as all others that have helped make this event possible.
