As reported earlier by SooToday, Debbie Amaroso, the Liberal candidate in the upcoming byelection for Sault Ste. Marie, has challenged her opponents for the empty seat in Queen's Park to ten debates.
She issued the challenge when she launched her campaign to represent the Sault as its MPP.
Both NDP Candidate Joe Krmpotch and Conservative Candidate Ross Romano have said they're in for the challenge, for as many as they have time for, anyway.
Krmpotch said he wondered if he could fit in 10 debates in a month, explaining that he's been spending much of his time knocking on doors.
"It seems rather high, 10 in 28 days, but I’m happy to have as many debates as we can,” said Romano.
Even the leader of the Ontario PC Party, Patrick Brown agreed, saying the more the merrier in reference to Amaroso's challenge to ten debates.
Debbie Amaroso's office sent us the following list of debates she says are scheduled during the race that will end at the polls in Sault Ste. Marie on June 1.
