11:15 a.m. update

DEROCHE TOWNSHIP – Sault Ste. Marie Ontario Provincial Police have located the two missing males that were reported missing yesterday.

The pair had vehicle troubles and stayed in the bush overnight. They both walked out this morning and flagged down a passing vehicle.

8 a.m. original release

DEROCHE TOWNSHIP – Sault Ste. Marie Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are searching for two overdue hunters.

On Oct. 24, 2016 at approximately 1:30 p.m. two males left to go hunting in the Searchmont area. The males were to return to Goulais River by sundown and failed to return. 

The males were driving in a 2002 Blue Ford pickup truck with Ontario licence number AC73637.

OPP Aviation Services Helicopter will be attending the Searchmont area today. The investigation is ongoing.
