School bus driver charged after accident

No students were injured yesterday when a school bus collided with a vehicle on Wallace Terrace. The accident happened at 7:44 a.m. near Farwell Terrace. Police say that one passenger in the second vehicle.

No students were injured yesterday when a school bus collided with a vehicle on Wallace Terrace.

The accident happened at 7:44 a.m. near Farwell Terrace.

Police say that one passenger in the second vehicle. Eleanor Lemay of the 700 block of Third Line West, was taken to hospital.

Her injuries were minor.

The bus driver, Mary-Ann McCauley of Ferris Avenue, was charged with following too close.

Dust-up at elementary school

In an unrelated matter, two young people were charged with assault after an altercation yesterday at a local elementary school.

One student is accused of putting another in a headlock and administering several punches to the head.

A second victim was sucker-punched in the face area.

Injuries were minor.
