Sault Police help Sudbury locate Naomi

On May 10, City Police received a request from Sudbury Regional Police to locate a female that was in the Sault.

The female was wanted on several charges resulting from a home invasion in Sudbury.

The officers checked several addresses and the female was located and arrested.

She was arrested for assault with a weapon, possession of weapon for a dangerous purpose, possession of a prohibited weapon, administering a noxious substance, attempt break and enter, mischief under $5,000 and possession of a weapon contrary to an order.

26-year-old Naomi Shawana of no fixed abode is being transferred back to Sudbury to answer to the charges.
