Sault gets a new psychiatrist

*************************** New psychiatrist joins mental health team at SAH

September 28, 2004 – SAH is pleased to announce that Dr. Emmalee Marshall will join the mental health team beginning in October.

Dr. Marshall will work predominately on the acute inpatient units and will not be accepting outpatient referrals at the present time.

Born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, Dr. Marshall returned to the community in late June to complete her residency training.

"It's great to be back in the Sault with family and friends," she says.

Dr. Marshall obtained her medical training at McMaster University and will complete her specialty training in psychiatry, also from McMaster, at the end of this month.

"I'm impressed with the range of services available in this community, especially given the limited resources, and look forward to working with the team at SAH and our community partners," says Dr. Marshall.
