Sault Chamber congratulates re-elected MPP Orazietti

SAULT STE. MARIE - The Sault Ste. Marie Chamber of Commerce would like to extend congratulations to re-elected MPP David Orazietti.

Mr. Orazietti garnered 58.1 percent of the vote which is the largest percentage of the vote of any candidate in any race in the province.

It is no surprise that our community is continuing to stand behind the hard working Orazietti.

Mr. Orazietti has continuously worked hard for the Sault and the results speak for themselves.

We are certain that Orazietti will continue to bring forth important projects and initiatives to further the development in Sault Ste. Marie.

Following the results, graceful and supportive words were expressed by both NDP candidate, Celia Ross and PC candidate, Rod Fremlin.

Ross congratulated Orazietti after his victory speech and commended him for his work at Queen’s Park, particularly his work as Natural Resources Minister.

This is a demonstration of the cohesiveness in our community.

Sault Ste. Marie Chamber of Commerce President, Mark Barsanti expressed “that this is an opportunity for our municipal leaders to work with the provincial government in a way that builds on the large amount of public sector investment David helped to deliver during the last ten years. It is now time to work toward the goal of building significant private sector investment and private sector job growth and the re-balancing of the age demographics in our community.”

The Chamber stands behind MPP David Orazietti as he begins to serve in his fourth term as our representative.

We look forward working with Mr. Orazietti during the next four years.
