Sault airport gets $2.15M in COVID relief funding

The Sault Ste. Marie Airport Development Corporation (SSMADC) is receiving COVID-19 relief funding from the federal government.

MP Terry Sheehan announced this morning that the federal government will spend $2.15 million to support operations at the local airport for one year.

The relief funding is non-repayable.
