Robert charged with impaired and driving while prohibited

On the 18th of March, 2014 at 1:30 a.m., city police observed a vehicle being driven erratically on Wallace Terrace.

Officers noted that the driver appeared to be under the influence of alcohol.

As a result of the investigation, 27-year-old Robert Riel McGregor of Asquith Street was arrested and charged with impaired driving and over 80.

The accused was on a recognizance of bail with a condition to reside at a specific residence which he failed to abide by and was also prohibited by court order not to drive a motor vehicle stemming from a previous impaired conviction.

He was charged with Breach of a Recognizance and Drive While Prohibited.

He will appear in bail court on March 18, 2014.
