Richards Landing summer tradition marches on (25 photos)

A chilly wind didn't discourage visitors to the Richards Landing community night

Unlike most summer July evenings, the weather was windy and cold by sunset.

But that did not keep community night supporters away.

They arrived by the carload at the St. Joseph Township Centennial Grounds.

It’s been over two years since family members, neighbours and friends were reunited in a big way without the need for masks.

Whether your passion was homemade pies and other food items, games of chance, parade, or the 49th Pipes and Drum Band it was all there.

Proceeds from the event went to the North Shore Health Network Auxiliary, Richards Landing Matthews Site.

L!me, entertained the crowds of people who left the grounds as the sun was setting and made their way to the marina for the parade of lights as darkness set in.
