Remember Farmer Bob's missing pig?

'Farmer Bob' Cuerrier’s pig tale had a happy ending.

Cuerrier reports a piglet missing since Friday, was captured about an hour ago with a smelt net.

“He’s OK and he’s in his pen,” said Cuerrier.

The "young miscreant" slipped from Farmer Bob’s grasp Friday while being delivered to the farm. He has been on the run in the Hiawatha Highlands area since.

Cuerrier said he counts the piglet lucky. He was spotted earlier today at the barn with a coyote looking on.

“I’m convinced he was the product of poor parenting and careless upbringing,” joked Bob. “But he’s home now.”

Cuerrier credited the many members of the public who came out to help search in the Kinsmen Park area after a call went out on SooToday on Friday.
