SAULT STE. MARIE AND DISTRICT LABOUR COUNCIL

The Sault Ste. Marie and District Labour Council would like to invite the public and all labour to a Day of Mourning Ceremony on April 28, 2019 in Sault Ste. Marie.

The ceremony will be held at the GFL Memorial Gardens at 296 Queen St. E. (lower level at Queen St. E.) at 10:30 a.m. There will be a moment of silence and reflection at 11 a.m., followed by various speakers.

The Day of Mourning recognizes that every year, thousands of Canadians are killed on the job, and many thousands more die from Occupational Disease.

Please come join us to honour the victims of worklpace death, injury and illness.

Mourn the dead, but fight for the living!
