Registration open for North Shore Tribal Council wellness program

A news release issued by Mamaweswen, The North Shore Tribal Council, invites those interested to register for Mino Bimaadizidaa, a program aimed at improving the holistic health and employability of Indigenous people in the region.

The North Shore Tribal Council includes Atikameksheng Anishnawbek, Sagamok Anishnawbek, Serpent River First Nation, Mississauga First Nation, Thessalon First Nation, Garden River First Nation, and Batchewana First Nation.

Registration is open and the program is scheduled to begin on Sept. 13.

Niigaaniin Services invites anyone to register for Mino Bimaadizidaa, beginning Sept. 13, 2021! Register at Mino Bimaadizidaa registration.

Created for and by the people of our communities, Mino Bimaadizidaa provides the opportunity for our people to connect with themselves, their families, and their communities by sharing their natural gifts to live a good life.

Mino Bimaadizidaa is an ever-evolving program. Our people contribute through the knowledge and lived experiences they share during the program. A big part of rebuilding the path of life is learning to define your own wins. Mino Bimaadizidaa is about meeting our people where they are in their lives, no matter what barriers they face to living a good life. We believe that the group environment helps support participants in their journey.

Mino Bimaadizidaa is offered in a variety of formats to suit the needs of any of our people. All programs are run by a dedicated facilitator to support you on your journey.
