Red Cross helping people displaced by Studio 10 fire (Video, 6 photos)

Ontario Fire Marshal waiting to investigate cause of fire

The Canadian Red Cross is providing emergency lodging for 14 people following last night's fire at 89 Hudson Street.

Emergency management volunteer Louisa Van Lith told SooToday that 12 people displaced by the blaze registered for assistance through Canadian Red Cross overnight, while another two people registered for emergency lodging today.

The office of the Ontario Fire Marshal says it's waiting for Sault Ste. Marie Fire Services to fully suppress the fire before it begins its investigation in order to determine the cause of the fire.
