Accompanied by the Honourable Baron Tancred of Tanglewood (shown with his noble lady the Honourable Baroness Rosalinda Margareta de LaFuentes), she'll be presiding over a medieval feast today and bestowing a number of really prestigious awards on her loyal subjects.
The Society for Creative Anachronism is an international organization claiming 30,000 members dedicated to recreating the arts and skills of pre-17th-Century Europe.
The event continues today with gullet-stuffing, mace-clobbering, barbarian gate-crashing and other things that are otherwise never, ever, ever, ever seen around the Steel Hall.
