Quebec woman charged in Queen Street crash

A 20-year-old woman from La Baie, Quebec was charged in connection with a Queen Street East accident that sent four people to hospital last night. Andreanne Potvin was charged with disobeying a stop sign at the intersection with Churchill Boulevard.

A 20-year-old woman from La Baie, Quebec was charged in connection with a Queen Street East accident that sent four people to hospital last night.

Andreanne Potvin was charged with disobeying a stop sign at the intersection with Churchill Boulevard.

One passenger in Potvin's vehicle was taken to Sault Area Hospital with minor injuries.

The driver of the second vehicle, Foroogh Fatemazideh, was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, as were two of her passengers.

Police report that both vehicles involved in the crash sustained severe damage.
