SAULT STE. MARIE POLICE SERVICE

It is alleged that on May 3, 2014 at approximately 3:56 a.m. the accused Robert Atkinson,age 20 of Glengary Gate Crescent, did assault the victim by punching him once on the right side of the victim’s head.
The victim fell to the ground unconscious.
The victim did require emergency surgery.
On May 4, 2014 the accused turned himself in to police.
The accused was arrested for aggravated assault and will appear in bail court on May 5, 2014 at 10 a.m.
