Prince Edward Island guy pays us a visit, has nice truck

******************** Yesterday morning city police performed a routine traffic stop on a vehicle, which had been observed driving in a dangerous manner.

The vehicle, a 2004 Dodge pickup, had been travelling at a high rate of speed on Great Northern Road, Second Line, Black Road and Trunk Road.

The vehicle was observed passing vehicles in the center turn lanes and going through a red light.

The vehicle was stopped and checked at the corner of Boundary Road and Trunk Road.

During the investigation the driver [allegedly] threatened to punch one of the officers.

Police [allegedly] attempted to arrest the accused however the accused resisted.

The accused was controlled and transported to the station. 20-year-old Nicolas Stefan Gallant of Prince Edward Island was charged with one count of threaten death or bodily harm, one count of resist police officer and one count of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.

The accused is set to appear in bail court this morning.
