Power outage reported in east end

The cause of the outage is not known at this time

Nearly 800 PUC customers are without power this morning as a result of an unplanned outage.

In a release, the PUC is reporting that 770 customers lost power shortly before 8 a.m. today.

Crews are currently investigating the cause of the outage.

The outage is in the area of Queen St E. from Varsity Ave to Lake St and side streets (Elizabeth, Parkdale, Caddy, Drake, Oak Park Cres), Algoma University
