Power outage impacts 882 east end households

PUC crews responded to an unplanned power outage in the city’s east end shortly after 12:30 this morning.

A total of 882 customers were affected in the area of Chambers Avenue east of Birchwood Street, Kerr Drive south to Centennial Avenue.

Power was restored to all customers as of 7:12 a.m.

The cause of the outage has yet to be determined.
