A portion of Third Line will be closed until Thursday in order to facilitate work on the PUC Substation in the area of Industrial Park Crescent and Great Northern Road.
A news release issued by the City of Sault Ste. Marie states that the section of Hub Trail in this area is also closed with a detour provided.
Full text of the news release follows:
Third Line will be closed between Industrial Park Crescent and Great Northern Road until Thursday, June 17. The closure is required to facilitate work on the PUC Substation.
Further to the road closure, the Hub Trail portion through this location has been detoured to the north side of the road for a period of four weeks.
During this time, signage including road closed, detour and directional information will be posted to direct traffic through the area.
Motorists, pedestrians and cyclists are urged to be cautious and obey all detour signage in the area.
The City of Sault Ste. Marie thanks its citizens for their patience and cooperation during this temporary closure period.
