Police seek witnesses to Second Line accident

The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service is looking for witnesses to yesterday's crash on Second Line East between Old Garden River Road and Black Road. The accident took place around 1:15 p.m.

The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service is looking for witnesses to yesterday's crash on Second Line East between Old Garden River Road and Black Road.

The accident took place around 1:15 p.m. and is known to have involved a Ministry of Natural Resources vehicle.

That part of Second Line was closed for much of the day as the investigation progressed.

In a brief statement this morning, City Police advise that both drivers were taken to Sault Area Hospital.

One driver, a 63-year-old woman, remains in stable condition in intensive care.
