Police seek assistance in locating five robbery suspects

Crime Stoppers and the Superior East Ontario Provincial Police need your help to solve a robbery.

On Sunday, June 22 at approximately 2:15 a.m., OPP responded to a robbery at the intersection of Magpie Road and Boyer Street in Wawa, Ontario.

A young teenage male was walking home alone when he was confronted and thrown to the ground by five unidentified males. 

An undisclosed amount of money was removed from the victim’s wallet before the males left the area on foot.

All suspects are described as approximately 20 – 30 years of age and tall. 

Four of the suspects were dressed in black pants, work boots, and a black hoody. 

The other suspect was dressed in black pants, Adidas shoes, a ball cap and a white sweater with a gold design emblem on the arm and chest. 

One of the suspects had a large black tattoo covering his right hand.
