Police request public assistance in hit and run

On June 15, 2014 at approximately 4:30 p.m., a collision occurred between a grey minivan and a bicycle at the intersection of Andrew and Albert Streets.

This collision resulted in the 32-year-old female cyclist being taken to the hospital for treatment of non- life threatening injuries. 

Investigation has revealed that the minivan involved in this collision left the scene after a brief interaction with the cyclist.

The cyclist was then assisted by other motorists prior to police arrival.

Police are looking to speak to the minivan driver, those who may have assisted, or anyone else who may have witnessed this incident.
