Earlier this week, we were telling you how 24-year-old Gerrit Lester Huizing and 21-year-old Jessica Marie Bridge were busted on a bunch of drug and weapons charges after police visited 10 Donna Drive and found a blowgun, a loaded handgun, marijuana and codeine tablets.

This morning, the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service announced that Nicole Huizing, 21 and Shaun Nelson, 24, turned themselves in yesterday at the City Police Station.

Those two were tenants at 10 Donna Drive who weren't home when the police came calling.

A warrant was executed for their arrest and yesterday they were charged with two counts of possession of contolled substances, possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of stolen property, unsafe storage of a firearm, possession of a prohibited weapon, possession of a restricted weapon and possession of a weapon without a permit.

They're due in court on April 19.

Missing trucker located

In an unrelated matter, the Sault detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police advises that they've located a tractor-trailer and driver overdue on a run between Manitoba and Toronto.

The driver's company had last heard from him on Monday, when he was said to be in this area with a load of lumber.

Police found both the driver and vehicle within the City of Sault Ste. Marie.

The driver needed medical attention and was taken to Sault Area Hospital.
