Police ask for help to find a missing woman

Samantha Rose Dunlop, aged 28, has not been heard from since Jan. 19. Police believe she may have travelled to Sault Ste. Marie and are concerned for her well-being

On Feb. 2, 2018, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Elliot Lake Detachment responded to a report of a missing female from the Elliot Lake, Ontario area.

OPP Investigation has revealed that Samantha Rose Dunlop, a 28 year old female had not been heard from since January 19, 2018. She is described as white, approximately 5' 4" tall, weighing 110 pounds, long brown hair and brown eyes. When last seen she was wearing a black bomber style jacket. 

Information received that she may have travelled to Sault Ste Marie, Ontario with a friend and would be returning to Elliot Lake but did not give a date and time.

Police and family are concerned for her well-being and are asking the public's help to locate her. Anyone with information or who may know the whereabouts of Samantha Rose Dunlop is urged to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or their nearest police authority.
