The Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) has confirmed to SooToday that there has been a plane crash in Hawk Junction, Ont. just outside of Wawa.
The plane was a de Haviland Canada DHC-2 Beaver. TSB has stated that they are deploying investigators, who will arrive on the site tomorrow.
Ontario Provincial Police are currently on site, but have not released any details.
It is unknown at this time the condition of the pilot or passengers.
