AWERES TOWNSHIP - Sault Ste. Marie Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Aweres Fire and Rescue responded to a single motor vehicle collision on February 7, 2016 at 5:15 p.m. on Highway 17 north at the mile hill.

A pickup truck traveling southbound on Highway 17 crossed over into the northbound lane and rolled over into the ditch.

The male driver and two female passengers in the vehicle were transported to hospital by Emergency Medical Services (EMS) with non-life threatening injuries.
