Patricia Mackinnon ran into the wrong cop Friday night at a weekend RIDE check by members of the Sault Ste Marie OPP detachment.

The 29-year-old Thessalon woman was driving on Highway 17 at the east city limits when she encountered a roadside check staffed by an officer who had previously gotten her charged with driving while under suspension.

When he enquired about her current status, Mackinnon admitted to being still under suspension.

She was charged, once again, with driving under suspension.

Another licenced driver in the car was allowed to drive it home.

The persistent Ms. Mackinnon will hop over to the Sault Ste. Marie Court House in late April.
