Over 2,000 people set to converge on the Essar Centre in June

Jehovah’s Witnesses will soon hold their annual convention in Sault Ste. Marie. The theme of this year’s program is “‘Be Courageous’!” An estimated 2,400 will come to the Essar Centre, June 22 to 24, for the Bible-based program.

During the months of June through August 2018, 52 convention programs will be presented in 29 locations across the country. In addition to English and French, there will be convention programs presented in American Sign Language, Arabic, Chinese (Cantonese), Chinese (Mandarin), Haitian Creole, Italian, Korean, Portuguese, Punjabi, Quebec Sign language, Russian, Spanish, Tagalog and Tamil. The projected attendance for all conventions this summer in Canada is 150,000. Worldwide, there are over 8,250,000 Jehovah’s Witnesses in more than 120,000 congregations.
