The Station Mall is clarifying that not all retailers are open for in-store shopping as part of Step One of the province's Roadmap to Reopening.

The 'centre of choice' says all in-store shopping won't be permitted until step two comes into effect.

Only select retailers with their own outdoor entrances, and those considered essential services, are permitted to reopen today. Those retailers include:

  • Showcase
  • The Source
  • Sport Chek
  • Carter's/OshKosh
  • Dollarama
  • ScotiaBank
  • LCBO
  • Mobile providers

According to the provincial government, Ontario will stay in step one of the roadmap for at least 21 days before moving to step two where more restrictions will be lifted.

Step one reopening plans are focused on low-risk outdoor activities with small crowds. It also permits more limited indoor settings to be open, all with restrictions in place.

In consultation with the chief medical officer of health, the Ontario government has amended step one to also permit indoor religious services, rites and ceremonies, including wedding and funeral services limited to 15 per cent capacity.
