Twenty-five mostly vintage tractors paraded out near the airport for the 6th Annual Prince Township Tractor Cruise on Saturday.

Among those that took part were Fran and Grover Edwards along with three generations of their descendents.

Grover drove a borrowed red 1953 David Brown 990 tractor and pulled a wagon carrying Fran and 17 of their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A few of the family happened to be visiting from Calgary and were happy to ride in the parade.

"We really started something there in 1955," said Grover Edwards, in reference to him and Fran's wedding.

Edwards has been living on the same Carpin Beach Road and Second Line West farm since he was born in 1933.

That farm has been owned by his family since the late 1800s he said.
